Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
Many of God’s people are waiting for God to choose them, appoint them or ordain them but they have already been chosen, appointed and ordained to be His ambassadors to carry out His mission of reconciling the world. God is not really concerned with your occupation whether you are a mom, dad, engineer, secretary, homemaker or factory worker. We do not need a fivefold ministry position to be His ambassador. There are certain ministries we have as individuals yet there are ministries we all have without exception. We are called to be a witness Acts 1:8 and ministers of reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. We are all ambassadors or God’s royal representatives to go to people with His message of peace.
We should draw great significance from the fact of God’s choice and belief in us to call us His ambassadors. God has chosen to make His appeal to the world through us 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. God’s already filled out a report card on us and gave us straight A’s:
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
2 Corinthians 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
There is only one “A” left to make.
Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
