EVANGELISM ASSURANCES

Jesus didn’t save us to contain us and abandon our world.  He called us the salt of the earth and the light of the world and He gave us the Great commission to take the Gospel to all the world (Mark 16:15-20). The Early Church understood evangelism was for everybody because after they heard the Commission from Jesus it says, “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen Mark 16:20.”

Evangelism AssurancesThe center of our operations (the Church) isn’t to be the center of our vision for evangelism. Don’t allow anyone to influence your thinking that people no longer want to hear the Gospel. Here are three assurances we need to know:

  1. There is a harvest in the nations because He will shake ALL nations and the desire of all nations (Jesus) shall come.

Haggai 2:6 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;  7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

  1. The Earth will yield its fruit of precious souls.

James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

  1. The salvation God sent to the Gentiles, they will receive.

Acts 28:28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

  1. We’ve been authorized to go and the Lord will always be with us, working with us.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
