Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called FAITHFUL and TRUE, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Faithfulness is to be reliable; constant; dependable; and trustworthy. It infers “long obedience in the same direction, no side-stepping, no escaping to any easy path, or fleeing. A faithful person stays at his station so we can put our “full faith” in him. Jesus was faithful regardless of cost, contradiction against Him, or consequences Hebrews 3:1, 2. It’s a requirement for anyone entrusted with anything to be found faithful/reliable 1 Corinthians 4:2. Success is never the main goal of our labor. Success is a by-product and always follows our faithful obedience. Faithfulness is success.
When Jesus comes back, He could have been described in many ways such as,”Here comes the Lord, here comes the Healer, here comes the Savior, here comes the Deliverer…. When He returns at the time of His Second coming to physically touch this Earth He will be the One called:
“FAITHFUL and true”
“The DEPENDABLE one”
“The one called TRUSTWORTHY”
“The one called STEADY”
“The one called RELIABLE”
