Proverb 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
It is not just a good idea to win souls it is wise (intelligent; skillful; artful). Solomon in Proverb 11:30 did not say that he who talks about winning souls is wise, but he who actually turns men from the error of their ways to God, saving them from going down to hell, is a wise man. Jesus is made unto us wisdom but that doesn’t mean we are wise (1 Corinthians 1:30) in application of wisdom to win a soul.
The prophet Daniel said that after the resurrection we will differ in the shine of God’s glory upon us depending on how many we have turned to righteousness. “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever Daniel 12:3.” It is time to arise and shine in this life and not wait until eternity.
This is the time and this is the year to share the Gospel outside the walls of the Church. No one gets saved without contact and the Great Commission gives us the authority and responsibility to initiate that contact. The anointing power of the Holy Ghost was given to give supernatural power to our witness Acts 1:8. We can witness with power and we can be witnesses with supernatural power. The Spirit of God through the Apostle Paul said it this way in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
