Your Life Matters2

1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

“It’s a Wonderful Life,” with Jimmy Stewart is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies. It is about a man who has given up his dreams and about to give up his life when an angel intervenes and shows him all the lives he has touched and how life would have been so different had he never been born.

I sense in my spirit today someone may be feeling like giving up. We all get down or feel down at times but don’t give up and don’t be weary in well doing. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. I want you to know that your life matters and it has not gone unnoticed, and, YES, you truly would be missed. You will never realize the influence you’ve had because it stretches far beyond what you can see in your immediate circumstances. Hebrews 6:10 affirms that God won’t forget, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” The good you have done and are doing will be rewarded and this is no time to quit.

Worth and value is determined by the purchase price and there is not a higher price that could have been paid for you than the precious Blood of Jesus. I am praying that God will give you a revelation of your worth and value to Him, that your purpose for being here on Earth has not come to an end, and that you will come to the full realization that you can get out of the pain you may be in to live a long, satisfying, and fruitful life.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing and that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Ghost, In Jesus’ Name (Romans 15:13). Proverb 4:18 says, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” God has planned a bright future for you!
