Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things which is the head, even Christ.
God’s Truth, the Word of God never changes. Our conclusions and convictions about the Truth may change but the Truth remains the same. Revival begins when men return to Truth. 2 Corinthians 13:8 says, “For we can do nothing against the truth but for the truth.” We as Christians need to be sold out and committed to Truth. If ever we compromise on Truth, error and deception is sure to enter in. Some say, “We just need to be lovers,” but in reality we need to love people so much that we give them the Truth and never compromise with Truth. Some compromise Truth and call it walking in love but that’s not love. Love is loyal to Truth. First John3:18 says, “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue: but in deed and in truth.”
Ephesians 4:15 says, “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things which is the head, even Christ.” There are times when we would all rather do anything than stand and speak the Truth of God’s Word in a situation but we must. We must love them enough to tell them the Truth and, of course, do it in a loving way. When we do not speak the Truth, we actually hinder a person’s growth in Christ-likeness. Never fear to speak the Truth in love and do not draw back. When you speak the Truth in love, love will cast out fear because there is no fear in love 1 John 4:18. Remember God has no greater joy than to hear that His children walk in Truth 3 John 4.
