John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave the power (authority/right/privilege) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Every one of us needs meaning and purpose for our lives. For those who have received Jesus our birth into the Kingdom was a planned birth. It wasn’t a surprise to God when we were born into His family but planned from before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). That means our life is not an accident or an experiment. God never planned for anyone to become a waste, a non achiever, a failure, or a casualty in life.
We were born spiritually not by flesh and blood or by the will of any human being but by the will of God. God’s will is what He has determined and decreed should be (the word used for “will” means: what is determined; decreed; choice). God determined and decreed we should be spiritually alive on Earth as one of His children at this very time of human history. Acts 17:26 says, “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” God determined we should be here on Earth at this very time and the boundary lines of where we would live. Don’t let the devil lie to you that you are old fashioned, old school, or should have been born in an earlier era. He never saved the wrong person and He has an awesome plan for our life. We do not belong to a former day and time we belong here on Earth now. We have what it takes to make a difference. Our days are not over and this is our time to shine. We’re here on a mission for God as Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” There is an assignment from God waiting for you to complete. No one is useless and there are no unused members of the Body of Christ from God’s perspective.
We are not illegitimate children God has to suddenly make room for and has to find something for us to do. We are legitimate which means having the status of one lawfully begotten and genuine. Our birth and life were all pre-planned and the gifts He put in us will make room for us. We never have to strive or beg for acceptance or a place; it’s already been set up for us. First Corinthians 12:18 says, “But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. Discover it and press in to it.
