Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
God created everything to fulfill a purpose. He always purposes before He creates. Purpose is the original intention or the intended use of a thing by its maker or creator. God always purposes first and then creates. He never creates and then says, “What can I do with what I created?” No, if God created it, it has a purpose.
When God creates something, He designs it perfectly with all the inherent qualities necessary to fulfill its purpose. He designs and builds into it what it needs for its intended use. Ephesians 2:10 says we were created in Christ Jesus unto good works or that good works would come out of our life. We have built into us all that we need to do those good works. We are not a mistake nor are we lacking in anything we need. We were designed a certain way, or wired a certain way with all the essential components to fulfill our purpose.
There is a time for every purpose (Ecclesiastes 3:1) under the heavens and that includes a time for the purpose God has designed us for. Time has been allotted to us by God to fulfill our purpose. Whatever intention God has for our life, He has assigned a season in which it is to be done. That season is the time of our life on Earth at this time in history. We were not born at the wrong time nor belong to another generation. We are alive on Earth at the perfect time God designed for us to be, with what we need built into us for the fulfilling of our purpose and God’s plan to reach our generation. It is time to complete our assignment and intended purpose.
