Jesus needs to be more real to us than ever before. We need to hear Him more clearly and accurately and experience Him more deeply. Christianity and being a Christian is not about an ideology or philosophy with a set of morals. It is a relationship with a real person named Jesus. It is about a changed or transformed life because we’ve met Jesus and bowed our knee to Him as our Lord and Savior.
It is interesting to note that Jesus is called Lord over 600 times in the NT as compared to being called Savior about 25 times. The Scriptures tell us that:
JESUS IS LORD OF ALL
Acts 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
JESUS IS LORD OF LORDS
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
JESUS IS OUR LORD
Rom 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.

Is it so in your life or are you still the one who calls all the shots and is in charge?
