MARRIAGE IS A LIFETIME OF LEARNING

Ecclesiastes 9:9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.

God wants us to live happily ever after in our marriage.  We are to enjoy life, enjoy one another, and enjoy marriage Ecclesiastes 9:9.  Marital happiness, though, is no accident but rather an achievement.  It is created by us, not by God.  Marriages aren’t made in Heaven but rather they are made on Earth. It takes two willing and obedient people committed to make it work.

It is also important to know that all of married life involves constant adjustments and repair. Marriage is a lifetime of learning. No matter where you are in your married life, all married life is a learning experience.  Together you have never experienced the point in time you both are presently in.  It is also a learning experience because no marriage goes the way we want it to go all the time; therefore, we must constantly learn, making adjustments and repairs along the way. Don’t be allergic to learning something new.
