Psalm 119:126 It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law. 127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold. 128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

In our culture today making moral judgments, saying what is right and wrong is not politically correct. Morality has become a matter of personal preference like choosing flavors of ice cream. In reality they simply replace the moral absolutes of the Bible with their own. To them making moral judgments is always a sin and tolerance is a virtue. Christians need reminded that one day God will judge the world in righteousness Acts 17:31, His righteousness, not the world’s version of what is right. Everyone who thinks it is right to support abortion up to 4 days, 3 days, 2 days, 1 day, or moments before birth will answer to God. Everyone who knows about it but chooses to sit on the sidelines and does nothing to stop it will also answer to God. Proverb 24:11 says, “If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; 12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?”

Believers allow political candidates and liberal media to frame everything as Right vs. Left, Republican vs. Democrat instead of Right vs. Wrong. Believers today (weak in their faith) refuse to make moral judgments and vocalize them for fear of being labeled intolerant. Silence in the name of tolerance where God’s Word is violated in my view is essentially cowardice and indifference to the God some say they love.

Many Christians in their thinking are governed by the world’s neutralized version of what is morally right and wrong instead of God’s precepts which are always right about all things. To the world it is OK to murder unwanted babies due to the inconvenience they present but wrong to kill some animals even for food. It is OK to have any form of sex you want with as many partners as you want even if it promotes the spread of deadly disease yet it is wrong to encourage school children to practice abstinence. To them their views are absolutely right and if you challenge their views as being wrong you are intolerant and absolutely wrong. So much for tolerance from those who reject God’s absolutes and say everything is relative. Proverb 16:25 says, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Whose morality, whose standard of what is right and wrong, good and evil should we live by? There are many different philosophies fallen men use to define right and wrong or who is right. How about this as the psalmist said, “…therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.” “It is time for thee to work, O Lord…”
