Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The main reason God gave us the power of the Holy Ghost was to help us become a witness, one who testifies, furnishes evidence, or attests to a fact. Everyone of us should be able to give a firsthand account of what we’ve seen, heard, and experienced in coming to Jesus. One of the things that identifies true Christianity is the sharing of the Gospel, the Good News, or the sharing of our faith.
In one sense our faith is a private matter as to whether or not a person accepts Jesus and they will be personally accountable for their choice. It is also a public matter because Jesus gave us a commanded mission to go public with it and share it. All Christians are to reach out and share the Gospel and all Christians have the same love of God shed abroad in their heart so that we cannot sit idly by and watch people miss Heaven and go to hell.
Heaven is real!
Hell is real!
There is a life to come!
Life goes on beyond the grave!
God’s will is for all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Wherever you are or wherever you go get in tune with God’s agenda.
