Psalm 92:12-14 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing.
We are living in the Last Days, a time described as perilous, but also a time of Harvest. Our Heavenly Father is going to reap every willing soul from the seed of His Son. The ultimate purpose of the mission of God is to reconcile all sinners in all the world back into relationship with Him. Christians obedient to the Great Commission and flowing in and out of the local church is central to reaping this Harvest for the Kingdom.
Our Heavenly Father also has increase planned for us individually for He is a God of increase. All the increase God has for us is not just from our connection to Jesus but also from our connection to the local church. Notice in Psalm 92:12-14 that God has supply and increase for us in the house of the Lord. Only the planted flourish and only the planted bring forth fruit. It is not where we plant ourselves, but where God plants us. Isaiah 61:3 says that we are trees of righteousness the PLANTING OF THE LORD. God decides where we are planted (or to pitch your tent) because He has deposits and anointing He wants in us, that we are going to need for our future. We need planted where the Lord plants us because He knows the potential He put in us and He knows the best atmosphere to bring it out of us. For example a tree in its seedling form may have the potential to produce pineapple fruit. A pineapple tree will grow better in Hawaii than Alaska. What if the pineapple tree insists on being planted in Alaska? That is not the best climate for it to exist and grow in.
God also has supply and increase for us through our shepherd who is also connected to the house of the Lord. Jeremiah 3:15-16 says, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. 16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and INCREASE in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. Jeremiah 23:3, 4 adds the same thought about increase in connection to a shepherd, “And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and INCREASE. 4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord. It is time to find our place in the Body of Christ, where the Lord has set us, (1 Cor. 12:18), and planted us.
