Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
John 5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
God prepared a body in the earth for Jesus to do God’s will Hebrews 10:5, 7 and to do God’s work John 5:36. God has not changed His plan of wanting His will and work done in the Earth. He has changed who is supposed to be doing it. We are now the Body of Christ and we are in this Body to do God’s will and work. What God did through a Body called Jesus He wants to do through a Body called the Church John 14:12.
For this to happen all Believers must become producers not just consumers. We are not in the Body just to have and experience something but to do and produce something. God has foreordained that we are to produce Ephesians 2:10. Being a producer is more than a call it is built into us. We are created to multiply. It is in our genes and DNA Genesis 1:26-28. God chose and ordained us to be producers John 15:16. Production is a team effort and teamwork of leaders leading and members of the Body supplying. “Every joint supplieth according to the effectual working in the measure of every part maketh increase,” Ephesians 4:16.
When the members of the Body find their place and function, churches reap and keep the harvest. Members need to answer the call of God to the ministry of helps 1 Corinthians 12:28, and function in their spiritual gifts Romans 12:3-8; Ephesians 4:11,12; 1 Corinthians12: 7-11. Great churches are built by great Believers not great sermons.
