stability from

Mal 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not….
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

If there’s anything that we need living in a world that is constantly changing, it is stability. One definition of stability is the ability of an object, such as a ship or aircraft, to maintain equilibrium or resume its original, upright position after displacement, as by the sea or strong winds. Our lives like the ship or aircraft can face waves and winds of change. For something to change would mean that it could go in either one of two directions: either more of something or less of something, from better or to worse. Time changes; people change; relationships change; families change; neighborhoods change; circumstances change; our money changes; and the challenges to our health changes. The Good News is that God’s nature, character, Word, and absolute truth’s never change.

Our faith is in an unchangeable God. He can be relied upon and depended upon. If something changes in our life that knocks us to and fro we can use our faith in God to resume our original upright position and maintain our equilibrium.

His Word is forever settled Ps. 119:89
For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
His covenant will never break or be altered Ps. 89:34.
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
His faithfulness will never change Nu. 23:19.
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
His goodness and mercy will endure forever Ps. 107:1.
O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
His love for us never changes Rm. 5:8.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
His will for us to prosper and be in health will not change 3 John 2.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
His truth will endure to all generations Ps. 100:5.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

His wisdom and knowledge Isaiah 33:6
And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.
Have faith in an unchangeable God and bring stability to your life.
