There is a reason for managing our time wisely. Time is given to us on Earth for the fulfillment of our purpose (Eccl. 3:1). Aside from our individual specific assignments we are all called to God’s purpose of reaching lost people with the Gospel and discipling them. We do not have unending time to do the work of the Lord. Romans 13:11 says, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” We must redeem the time Ephesians 5:17. Do you know what time it is? It is later than you think. For us, the Church, the Last Days will not last forever. We know that the Last Days are only UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles will come in. There is going to come a time when all of the Gentiles that can be reached will be reached. Then God will begin to turn to the Jews. Romans 11:25 says, ”For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness (hardening) in part is happened to Israel, UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, there shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.”
The nation of Israel has blindness as a whole. What does that mean? It means God is right now, directly dealing to draw Gentiles into relationship with Him. God is not directly dealing with them, Israel, as a nation but He will. He is now directly dealing with Gentile nations to bring them into salvation with Him but only UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles is reaped. We should be busy laboring in the harvest field UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles is brought into the Church, the Body of Christ. Our business is not to predict but to work and God’s business is to control the times and seasons.
