Mal 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not….
Here on Earth things are always changing. There is nothing on Earth as constant as change. Some change is good but not all change is a change for the better. The Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage is seriously flawed and it brought change that will advance evil and confusion in America. It takes us back to what existed and was judged over 3000 years ago. Human government has been given authority to exist in the Earth by God to punish and protect us from evil and to protect what is good (Rom. 13:1-6). Their change to marriage has done just the opposite.
We now have a President who negotiates with a state sponsor of terrorism, Iran, who never has kept any of their agreements or abided by international law. They’ve also, while negotiating, continued to call us an enemy and chant death to America and death to Israel while burning each nation’s flags. This same nation is among those listed in God’s prophetic Word in Ezekiel 38:5 as one of those nations poised to attack Israel in what many call WWIII and we are paving the way for them to have nuclear weapons.
We can rejoice in the face of change if we’ll remember that nothing that really matters eternally has changed. We need to keep our faith and focus on our UNCHANGEABLE God. We serve a God whose:
WORD is forever settled in Heaven.
Psalm 119:89 Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
CHARACTER never changes.
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
COVENANT with us will not be altered.
Psalm 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
COUNSEL (plans) stands forever.
Psalm 33:11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
COMING of the Lord
Jude 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
