Romans 15:13 says, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
God is a God of love and faith but also the God of hope (1 Cor. 13:13). Hope is not just wishful thinking but a powerful spiritual force available to Believers. It creates a confident and favorable expectation or anticipation of good. It gives us something to look forward to with the feeling that what we desire or want will happen. God’s promises are full of hope and His spirit can cause us to abound in hope.
Give God’s Word some of your time today and allow the Holy Ghost to paint a picture of a better tomorrow in your heart. Things can look hopeless but we can still have hope. Abraham, the father of our faith, faced a hopeless situation but believed in the hope that came from what God said against the loss of natural hope (what he felt and saw from natural information). “Who against (natural) hope believed in hope (Bible hope from a promise)…” Romans 4:18. God is a God of hope. Get in His Word today and allow the Holy Ghost to paint a picture of a better tomorrow in your heart.
