Phil 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Heb 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Giving up is not an option, so don’t even think about it. That is not saying that the pain or struggle we may be feeling is not real or difficult but God will not give up on us, leave us, or forsake us. God is committed to our completion, maturity, and development. There is no quit on His end. We may leave the path of growth but He doesn’t. On His part, there will never be a time that he will not be committed to our growth. There may be consequences we have to live with when we get off His path but we can get back on track. He won’t forget us or forsake us. We should not give up on ourselves.
No matter what we may come up against, God through Jesus and His Love for us, has already made us more than conquerors over it (Rm. 8:37)! God has not brought us this far to let us down or to recall His plans for us. Romans 11:29 says, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” That means they are not subject to recall. The best is yet to come and the greatest things in your life are still in the making. Isaiah 45:11 tells us to ask Him about the things concerning our lives, “Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.”
